Erietta Vassilakou is a Law School graduate and holder of L.LM. in Maritime Law from Law School οf National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She has received a scholarship of excellence from the Propeller Club of United States – Port of Piraeus for her performance in the L.LM. entrance exams (9,5/10). During her undergraduate and postgraduate studies she has dealt with various maritime law topics, such as the key features of the Maritime Labour Convention 2006, the jurisdiction and arbitration clauses in the bills of lading, the separability of the arbitration clause in the contract of carriage and in charterparties, while her thesis focused on: “(Under) Performance clause in charterparties”.
She has attended seminars concerning maritime law (9th International Conference on Maritime Law, 3rd Advanced Seminar on Maritime Law). She specializes in issues regarding maritime law and company law.
She speaks Greek (native language) and she has excellent competence in English and French.
