Triantafyllos Stavrakidis is admitted to practice before the Council of State and the Court of Cassation. He holds a PhD Degree in the field of maritime law for the elaboration of doctoral dissertation under the title “Collision of ships at sea”, Law School of the University of Athens.
Triantafyllos studied law at the Law School of the Democritus University of Thrace and holds two LL.M Degrees in maritime and transportation law from the University of Aix-Marseille III – Center of Maritime Law and Transports (2007-2008) – (“Bien-Major de la promotion” – High Honors, Graduated first in the LL.M. Class) – France. He equally holds an LL.M Degree in commercial law from the Law School of the University of Athens (Graduated first in the LL.M Class), 2014. His professional focus is mainly on maritime law, transportation law, company law, industrial property law, international private law and arbitration.
His publications include “Defective resolutions of the Board of Directors of a Société Anonyme” (Nomiki Bibliothiki, 2015) and “Collision of Ships” (Nomiki Bibliothiki, 2020). Moreover, Triantafyllos is the author of several published articles and case comments on Greek corporate, maritime and transportation law, published in Greek law journals.
Ηe is fluent in Greek (native), English and French, while he also has some knowledge of German.
