Dimitris Papanagnou
Dimitris Papanagnou is a graduate from the Athens Law School of the National Kapodistrian University of Athens and a lawyer, entitled to litigate before Supreme Court and the Council of State.
Dimitris holds a LL.M. in Commercial Law from the Athens Law School of the National Kapodistrian University of Athens, in the field of Competition Law and Industrial Property Law. His thesis was entitled “Greek Privatization Programs, in the Light of State Aid Law” and was graded with distinction of excellence.
His legal experience and practice is mainly focused on Commercial Law, Competition Law, State Aid Law, Banking Law, Industrial Property Law and Capital Market Law.
His study “The importance of subsidy during the enforcement of state aid rules in the transport sector – Observations on GenDEE T-718/2020” is published in Business & Company Law, 4/2023. Also, his article “The As Effecient Competitor test and its alternatives – Reflections on the decision of the ECJ C-377/20” is published in Commercial Law Review, October-December vol. 4/2022.
Dimitris speaks Greek (mother tongue), English (fluently) and French.
