Panagiotis- Angelos Papathanasiou
Panagiotis-Angelos Papathanasiou is a graduate from Athens Law School and a Lawyer, entitled to litigate before the Court of First Instance.
Panagiotis holds an LL.M. in Maritime Law from Athens Law School (First Class Honours). For his performance he was awarded an Award of Excellence by the International Propeller Club of the United States (Port of Piraeus).
His experience and practice focuses on Corporate Law and Maritime Law. At research level he has dealt with issues regarding marine pollution.
His LL.M thesis “International Convention on Civil Liability for Oil Pollution Damage (CLC) & International Convention on Civil Liability for Bunker Oil Pollution Damage (Bunker): Comparative analysis” is published under the series “Maritime and Transport Law Studies” (Nomiki Bibliothiki, 2024, p.368).
He speaks Greek (mother tongue), fluently English and French.
