4^th Annual Lecture on Maritime and International Law (INTERTRAN, Helsinki)

Prof. Athanassiou participated as a speaker in the 4^th Annual Lecture on Maritime and International Law, organized by the INTERTRAN Research Group for Sustainable Law and Business in collaboration with the Finnish Maritime Law Association (CMI). The lecture, which took place in a hybrid format, was given on the topic of “Legal implications of Covid 19 on international shipping”, focusing on the implementation of the MLC and the execution of charterparties and maritime transport contracts, and it was accompanied by a fruitful discussion and exchange of views.
