Prof. L. Athanassiou participated, from November 25^th to December 12^th 2020, in the 91^st Session of the ILO Committee of Experts on the Application of Conventions and Recommendations (CEACR), for its annual review of the application of international labour standards by ILO’s 187 members States. This year, the CEACR’s session had been an entirely virtual event. As the session took place against the backdrop of the COVID-19 pandemic, special attention was given to the socio-economic impact of the pandemic on the protection of social rights. The Committee’s annual Report is expected to be published in March 2021.
