«PARTICIPATION IN THE 2ND SIGNING CEREMONY OF THE UNITED NATIONS CONVENTION ON THE INTERNATIONAL EFFECTS OF JUDICIAL SALES OF SHIPS»

AG-Law Partner Professor Lia Athanasiou participated in the Greek delegation (together with Mr. Feresidis, Athens Appellant and Mrs. Tzalavra, Commander of the Coast Guard and Rapporteur for International Organizations and the European Union) that represented our country at the 2nd signing ceremony of the United Nations Convention on the International Effects of Judicial Sales of Ships, which took place in Valletta, Malta on 19 June 2024. At the ceremony the following countries signed the International Convention: Antigua and Barbuda, Côte d’Ivoire, Croatia, Cyprus, Italy, Malta and Spain. Our country has set up a Working Group to examine the legal issues arising from the adoption of the International Convention by Greece.
