Participation in the 94th Session of the ILO Committee of Experts on the Application of Conventions and Recommendations (CEACR)

Professor L. I. Athanassiou participated, from November 27th to December 9th 2023, in the 94th Session of the ILO Committee of Experts on the Application of Conventions and Recommendations (CEACR), for its annual review of the application of international labour standards by ILO Member States.

This year, the CEACR’s General Survey delves into the Labour Administration Convention 1978 (No. 150) and the Labour Administration Recommendation (No. 158). The Committee’s annual Report is expected to be published in March 2024.

At the same Session, the Commission paid farewell, with due honour, to two prominent members who retired after fifteen years of service, Professors Paul-Gérard Pougoué (Cameroon) and Rachid Filali Meknassi (Morocco), renowned experts and dedicated advocates of the rights protected by international labour law.
