Prof. and Minister for Cabinet G. Gerapetritis present in the 10th IMLC
Professor and Minister for Cabinet, George Gerapetritis, participated in the 10th International Maritime Law Conference, organized by the Piraeus Bar Association at the Eugenides Foundation (26 to 28 May 2022) with the theme titled “Protecting maritime operators in a changing regulatory and technological environment”. Mr. Gerapetritis chaired the eighth Session where significant legal issues were discussed regarding the liability regime for compensation for oil pollution damages, as well as insolvency proceedings under American law, by esteemed Speakers: Gaute Sivertsen (Director – IOPC Funds), Christopher Davis (President – CMI) and Nikos Konstantinidis (Dr.Jur., Attorney-at-law, Legal Department – Piraeus Port Authority).
